This photo was taken in September. We were on our way up north, when all of a sudden something popped and the car started steaming. Bickering ensued as to the smart next steps, and we lurched along until we hit Gaylord. We dropped the car off at the dealership (lucky for us we found one), and since we were all hungry, decided to walk the one mile to Burger King with the dog (I know, there are already several things wrong with this story). Lucy (our dog) of course immediately takes a dump outside the car wash immediately next to the car dealership. We all pretend to not see and keep on walking. So we finally get to Burger King and eat an awful value meal (I mean, c’mon, Burger King has GOT to be the worst fast food available…), and meanwhile the dog is panting incessantly. I go inside and grab her a cup of water (pictured at the bottom) and she proceeds to consistently knock it over (reason for my concerned look). Liz decides to take a picture of this scene, of course the dog looks nuts, I look concerned, my mom is cheesing (?!) and Pops is on his iPhone. Yup, our nice little Saturday. A picture really can say a million words, or at least 208.
